AFM 2018

Dean will be over from England to attend the American Film Market in Santa Monica this year with his US agent and various current production and development partners. He will be in town between Thursday 1st and Wednesday 7th November.

Voices from the industry, the arts and academia are drawn together to build a comprehensive survey of the fabulous, furious, funny, fragile and frustrating women of science fiction film.

(TV documentary and travelogue)
~ New World money meets Old World style - Building the Golden Age of Hollywood
When the powerful immigrant moguls of cinema's 'Golden Age' wanted a way to spill the galmour of movies out onto the street, they chose the grand architectural styles of home: Renaissance France, Moorish Spain, Baroque Italy, Gothic England, and many more. The result was fabulous New World American cinema styles that were transported back to the Old World in the form of the glorious Picture Palaces.
